Kelsea Ballerini is taking a page from friend and mentor Taylor Swift’s book.
As fans continue to try to decipher the secret messages in Taylor’s record-breaking new “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, Kelsea has announced she’s including her own “hidden gems” in her forthcoming new album Unapologetically.
In a response to one fan on Twitter, Kelsea details the details to listen for.
“if you listen close, in the album you can hear a high school football game, my fiancé singing, and a voicemail from my mom,” she says.
The “Legends” singer reveals fiancée and fellow country artist Morgan Evans provides backing vocals to the album’s title track, the first song, she tells Cody, she wrote about her Australian beau.
Listen for the rest of the so-called gems when Unapologetically drops everywhere on November 3.
